Prof. Jun Song, Anhui University, China

the recipient of the National Young Talent Program


Jun Song, Professor/Ph.D. Supervisor and Deputy Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence at Anhui University. He is the recipient of the National Young Talent Program, and a Senior Member of IEEE and CAA, as well as the editorial board member for some international journals, such as, Asian Journal of Control, Journal of the Franklin Institute, and IET-The Journal of Engineering. His research focuses on intelligent disturbance rejection control for unmanned systems and embodied intelligence robotics technology. He has authored 4 academic monographs, published over 40 papers in Automatica and IEEE Transactions, and holds 20+ authorized invention patents. He has secured funding for research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Anhui Provincial Outstanding Youth Science Foundation, and Anhui University Research Major Project.  He has received Shanghai Municipal Natural Science Award (Second Class) in 2024, Natural Science Award by the Chinese Association of Automation  (First Class) in 2019, and Anhui Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award (First Class) in 2024.

Assoc. Prof. Xiaodong Shao, Beihang University, China

the recipient of the National Young Talent Program


Xiaodong Shao is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, Beihang University, Beijing, China, and has been recognized as a National-level Young Talent. He received his Ph.D. degree in Navigation, Guidance, and Control from Beihang University in November 2020. He has focused on theoretical and applied research in areas including spacecraft intelligent autonomous control, space intelligent perception and safe manipulation, as well as cooperative and adversarial decision-making for space vehicle swarms. He has authored one English monograph and published over 30 SCI-indexed papers in leading journals such as Automatica, IEEE Transactions, and AIAA Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics, with three papers selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers. He has led more than 10 research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program and Young Scientists Fund - B), and sub-project of the National Key R&D Program of China. He has been selected for talent programs such as the Beijing Nova Program and the Beijing Young Talent Promotion Program. He has also received awards including the First Prize of Natural Science Award from the Chinese Association of Automation and a nomination for the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from the same association.
